Hear new Cave In, SkyTigers, Holly Brewer, Linnea’s Garden, Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys, Kindheart, Graveyard of the Atlantic, Young Other, 3 Parts Dead, Live from the Archives
I was grabbing music as it came in seeing as this was the day bandcamp was giving all proceeds to artists. Next dates are June 5 and July 3. Thanks to everyone who let me know. News came in about the closing of Great Scott in Allston today. It is incredibly sad. Whether you went there a lot, a little, one time, or never, it is catastrophic for the music community.
(Edit: Great Scott was one of the first places I booked show when I started, back in my WFNX years. I don’t remember the dates, but it was with Humanwine. And I played Holly today on the show. Bittersweet.)
RiP Allston music at Great Scott. You meant much to many people. Sorry this had to happen. More via Vanyaland
